Our colostrum is a powder that comes in capsules.  It is very easy to administer to pets.  Simply mix with water and it tastes like milk.  Most cats and dogs will lick the colustrum mixture readily.

 Colostrum is an exceptional nutritient, produced by mammal mothers for their newborns, that supports and nourishes the immune system. The most important components of colostrum are: immune system factors and growth factors.  Tegricel colustrum provides a perfect combination of immune and growth factors including immunoglobulins, lactoferrin and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), amino acids and other important nutrients. For centuries colostrum has been used by most cultures for healing and wellness.

Immunoglobulins (A, D, E, G, and M) are the most abundant of the immune factors found in colostrum. IgG neutralizes toxins and microbes in the lymph and circulatory system. IgM destroys bacteria, while IgE and IgD are highly antiviral.

Lactoferrin is an antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, iron-binding protein with therapeutic effects in cancer, HIV, cytomegalo-virus, herpes, chronic fatigue syndrome, Candida albicans and other infections. Lactoferrin helps deprive bacteria of the iron they require to reproduce, and it also releases iron into the red blood cells, enhancing oxygenation of tissues.
