Fabulous product---excellent value!!! Pure fish oil product. OmegaAvaiil Marine contains 100% Omega 3s which is especially beneficial for kidney and heart disease. Great for skin problems too. Can't be compared to the average fish oil found in stores. This product has 2-4x as much EPA and DHA as the average product and is intensely purified. Thus, you end up using less and get far better results.
Great care has been taken in the selection of raw materials, and extensive purification has taken place to make sure Omega Marine Softgels are free of contamination by environmental pollutants. You must be VERY careful when purchasing fish oils at the health food store as many contain high levels of heavy metals.
Supplementation with Omega 3s is especially important for chronic renal failure because it helps to control inflammation in the kidneys. Research studies have confirmed the benefits of Omega 3 supplementation and in fact some have indicated supplementation with Omega 6 can be harmful. It is VERY important to only supplement with a pure form of Omega 3s when a pet has kidney disease.

If your pet is eating fairly well, you may prefer to order the liquid. It is easier to administer by putting directly on food. Most dogs and some cats will eat it readily.
