About Susan Blake Davis, Certified Clinical Nutritionist



Susan Blake Davis is a licensed certified clinical nutritionist. She works with pet owners across the United States and internationally to help them develop special diets for their pets along with the appropriate nutritional supplements. Susan can teach you how to prepare a homemade diet custom-tailored to your pet’s needs. Having worked at the Veterinary Cancer Group in Tustin, she has extensive experience developing diets and supplement protocols especially for cancer patients. Susan teaches classes on holistic care for pets and is also the founder of Ariel Rescue, a dog rescue in Orange County. Susan’s accomplishments have been featured on CBS News, in the Orange County Register and Women’s World Magazine. Susan is also a member of the Natures Variety Pet Nutrition Council. Please note that since Susan Blake Davis is not a veterinarian, she cannot make diagnoses or prescribe medications.

About Dr. David Gordon, Holistic Veterinarian 


Dr. David A. Gordon is a holistic veterinarian and  the Medical Director of VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital.  He  has nearly 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Dr. Gordon is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and is one of the few holistic veterinarians in area of Southern California.

Dr. Gordon's "Ask The Vet" column, that appears in the Orange County Register provides valuable information to pet owners. In addition to general veterinary care and surgery, he provides acupuncture, chiropractic, stem cell surgery and other holistic services for your pet.

Susan Blake Davis, CCN is a pet nutritionist who will provide you with a custom diet for your pet (based on your pet's current condition, weight and food preferences), nutritional supplements (with consideration of any current medications), and a comprehensive holistic plan. 45 minute comprehensive consultation

Appointment with Dr. David Gordon (via telephone--part of package)
Dr. Gordon will review all of your pet's medical history and laboratory results. We highly recommend selecting this package if you do not have access to a holistic veterinarian, have a pet with complex health issues, need a second opinion from a veterinarian or would like recommendations about medications your pet is currently taking. Dr. Gordon and Susan Blake Davis work together to give your pet a comprehensive holistic plan that combines the best of conventional veterinary care and natural alternatives. Dr. Gordon and Susan Blake Davis work in collaboration at VCA Arroyo but the combined appointment package is only available via telephone.
