Gallbladder Supplement For Dogs & Cats
Liver Support is a natural gallbladder supplement for dogs and cats that helps to improve gallbladder function and bile flow. The gallbladder sits under the liver and stores the bile produced by the liver and releases it into the intestines to help digest fats. When bile flow is compromised, it can become like "gallbladder sludge." Pets with pancreatitis often have sluggish bile and difficulty digesting fats. Bile can "back up" into the stomach causing painful acid stomach and inappetence. Digestive disorders involving malabsorption can also cause abdominal swelling (ascites). "Sharing this because perhaps it could help another dog. A few years ago Gracie's blood work came back showing that she had an elevated liver enzyme above 190. Normal range is 12-118.
